Need support? Let’s talk.
What is Music Therapy?
Music therapy is the intentional use of music within a therapeutic relationship, to support well-being, self-expression and personal growth.
Led by a registered music therapist, individuals participate in music-making, listening and other tailored musical experiences designed to support their own unique needs and goals.
The benefits of music therapy are as varied as the individuals who experience it, but some common themes emerge.
It supports communication by offering new ways to express thoughts and feelings.
It builds confidence, fosters connection, and enhances well-being.
It can support cognitive function, coordination, speech and physical development.
